“Last week, our executive team used the new audio conferencing system and loved it! The clarity and sound is awesome. Medlin is delightful to work with, their follow-up is wonderful and I’d recommend them to anyone.”

As the 7th largest insurance brokerage firm in the world, HUB International provides property, casualty, business insurance, employee benefits and risk management services. HUB has 400 offices across North America and its headquarters are based in Chicago.
HUB had major plans to merge two locations in the suburbs of Chicago into one company headquarters. However, the company had concerns that their existing vendor could handle such a complex transition. Why? In addition to highly technical aspects involving wiring and cabling to contend with, HUB wasn’t receiving an optimal level of customer service from that vendor.
Upon awarding Medlin the build out project, the real work began in earnest with intensive weekly planning in coordination with architects, contractors and other parties several months in advance.
With HUB’s move underway, Medlin’s team sprung into action through our MedlinMove program to tackle the transition of the company’s low voltage cable. As soon as HUB’s office furniture moved out of the old location, we carefully rolled up the essential wiring to be moved, installed and tested in the new location.
We also took the lead in other key areas of the move, including setting up a state-of-the-art audio system as well as securing access control cards that would enable employees to enter the building and office suites from the same card. Then, to ensure they would quickly get up to speed, we trained employees from each department at HUB on how to fully utilize the new technology.
Today, HUB has the true technological “hub” an international company deserves in its headquarters. The audio system in the company’s boardroom has created a seamless environment for presentations, complete with speakers positioned for beautiful clarity. With a solid relationship in place, we look forward to upgrading HUB’s system in its company headquarters for many years to come.
